Four days of events that bring together the newest developments in films, series, animation, publications, webtoons and more — giving you a first look into the latest industry insights.

The 2026 Asian Contents & Film Market (ACFM) takes place between 10 - 13 October, parallely alongside the 31st BIFF. Highlighted events from this year’s program include:

• Asian Project Market: A co-production marketplace to discover promising feature film projects from the development stage to production. 

• Producer Hub: A networking program to facilitate cross-country exchange and offer opportunities for international co-productions. 

• Platform BUSAN: A networking platform to foster mutual solidarity among emerging Asian filmmakers. 

• Busan Story Market: A global business marketplace for original and remake IP, facilitating adaptation rights for diverse storytelling formats.

As an active member of the Canadian media arts and film industry, as well as a mediator between Canadian and Asian artists, Arts East-West will be attending ACFM to engage with the various creators, producers, distributors, and more who are presenting their work at ACFM.
