Sawsan AlSaraf is an Iraqi, Montreal-based filmmaker and visual artist whose work explores themes of memory, displacement, and the complexities of human connection. Her short film I Leave My Little Heart in My Mother's Chest (2023) has garnered international acclaim for its poetic and deeply personal approach to storytelling.
