Synopsis:

In this silent five-minute single-channel video installation, we "hear" louder than any voice can tell. This documentary is a poetic response from women in the diaspora to the patriarchal coercion imposed on women in Iran.

Fade-In has garnered international acclaim, winning the Golden Leopard for Best International Short at the Locarno Film Festival before its North American premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) Short Cuts. This evocative piece challenges viewers to engage with its profound themes through a unique, non-verbal narrative.
