ANNOUNCEMENTS

13th Montreal Asian International Film Festival

April 2, 2026

We are proud to officially introduce the 13th Montreal Asian International Film Festival, under the theme of Tangibility: Soil, Body, Stories, taking place from May 8 - June 13, 2026!

After 13 successful years as the Korean Film Festival Canada (KFFC), we are now transforming into the Montreal Asian International Film Festival. Our festival has evolved into a diverse media arts platform encompassing film screenings, media art exhibitions, workshops, artist talks and networking opportunities. We showcase films that center Asian voices, while continuing to highlight Korean cinema as the cornerstone of our festival.

The 13th MAIFF will take place across Montreal’s vibrant cultural landscape, including: Cinéma du Musée, Cinéma du Parc, Cinéma Moderne, Ada X, Goethe Institut-Montréal, Art Souterrain, Providence St. Joseph, Cinéma sous les étoiles, and more to be announced.
