Following our time at the 31st Busan International Film Festival (BIFF), the Arts East-West team would like to thank the filmmakers, industry professionals, and BIFF and the participated Asian Film Festivals we connected with in South Korea.
During the festival, we had our annual Asian and Canadian film industry networking event on October 9 at a local traditional restaurant, 수향 한방 닭곰탕 in Busan. This networking tradition event we launched last year in Seoul, and this year's gathering included Mr. Kim Dong-ho, Kim Hong Joon, Alice Shin, Choi Jeongdan, Jeon Chanil, and Park Hae-Oh, alongside many more both established and emerging artists.
Our team was also invited to attend the Canada-Korea Audiovisual Coproduction Forum at the Embassy of Canada in Seoul, co-organized by the Korean Film Council and Telefilm Canada. Throughout BIFF and the Asian Film & Contents Market, we discover and connect with new voices and talents.
Stay tuned for exciting updates from Arts East-West.
